I currently rest in Captain Carriedo's quarters, the care-free young man watching my tired face. "Are you ok, senorita?" He murmurs huskily, propping his feet up on his  desk and lacing his fingers together. Along with the blistering heat, the rocking of this ship is too much to bear. The 'gentleman' doesn't seem to be at all bothered. Fanning myself with my hand, I sigh a reply: "I'm fine...I just can't stand the heat..." He smiles in a way perhaps a brother would, shaking his head "It's not just that, is it? Though you will get used to it, my little rosa Inglés" Far more attentive than I first anticipated.
